Laura is a registered psychologist with extensive experience supporting individuals, children, and families impacted by trauma, family violence, and complex emotional or behavioural challenges. She provides compassionate, trauma-informed therapy that honours each client’s story and cultural background, fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful therapeutic environment.
Her clinical work integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and attachment-based interventions. Maria Laura has a strong interest in multigenerational trauma and the ways family patterns and relational dynamics influence emotional wellbeing and development.
